...in Indiana! So I'm back in Bloomington and start classes today. They should prove to be fun. I also start teaching today...eek. I have a 9:30am class full of Freshman on a Monday...something tells me they're not gonna want to be there! Especially since this is gonna be their VERY first class after moving away from home ha ha. I'll have to wHip them into shape! I got up at 5:45 (hmm...I'd often go to bed at that time in Edinburgh) to go for a 2 mile run....need to work my way back up to what I was before Scotland. 2 miles isn't bad considering I also have a mile walk to class, so I'll definitely be in good shape by the end of this year :) All righty then, time to go. Oh and I believe Amity leaves Edinburgh today, so the next time you hear from her she may be in Kiwiland!

Congrats, dude (and good to see you still updating). It's a bank holiday here, and there are drunk teenagers absolutely everywhere.

If you were a horse or pony
Bloomington would be your paddock!

...and I think she's still in Kiwiland. Clearly her Antipodean trip has left her with little spare time for blogging.

I haven't actually met Amity, but that hasn't stopped her calling me an uncouth bastard (or should that be b*****d?) and giving me a slap for making a single and perfectly innocent reference to her pants. For my part, I have recurring dreams in which her severed leg is floating in a vast ocean as an enormous tropical forest made entirely from Pak Choi looms menacingly on the horizon.

I wonder whether this is just a phase I'm going through.

The man speaks the truth... I am in Kiwiland still, though due to the curry shortage I have had no curry-flavoured tales to tell.

Ok, that's just a blatent lie. I live with Sri Lankans; of course curry is plentiful.

There's no need to **** or otherwise disguise filthy language here. As I mentioned, this is our 'Friends Only' zone. We can cuss, we can poach, we can gamble illegally here... this is an open forum, friend.
